Fresh food for our community. Championing farmers.

Co-founded in 2020 by David Demerling and Roberto Meza, EDFH supports local farmers and producers, ensuring healthy food access for everyone.

What We Do

  • We build relationships with food producers, farmers, and other regional food hubs— to support our local food economy.

Each week we update a catalog of products for you to shop from! This allows you to see a wide variety of source-identified foods.

If the variety you need is greater than what we offer, our procurement team will track your item down.

  • There are many ways we operate to get local food into your hands.

Farmer’s Markets run through Spring, Summer, and Fall. View our complete market schedule here.

Wholesale to Businesses and Institutions can be delivered throughout the state, with consulting on products and pricing with our value chain team. Whatever your organization’s needs, we’ll work together to get the job done.

  • Our team can assist in the design, packing, and distribution of food boxes for your organization, pantry, or community. Reach out to orders@eastdenverfoodhub.com to begin!

    A couple factors to consider—

Step 1) How much do you want each box to cost? We recommend between $30-$50 per box to ensure a variety of foods and meaningful number of servings of food.

Step 2) How many boxes do you want? 15 boxes is our minimum order. You can set a fixed number or we can fluctuate each week if needed.

Step 3) What do you want the boxes to contain? We tailor your boxes to your community! Common items include all produce, eggs, bread, grains/legumes, and proteins.

Step 4) When & Where? We offer free delivery in the Metro Area, and delivery for a small fee beyond it.

  • We support local food producers, small farms, food pantries, restaurants, retail stores, schools, museums, and more!

How We Do It

  • East Denver Food Hub values and honors the experiences of people of all identities and backgrounds. We recognize that agriculture, the economy, and social structures in the United state were founded on stolen land and forced labor. We actively work to dismantle the structural inequities that continue to uphold white supremacy and the patriarchy.

  • East Denver Food Hub fosters a collaborative team culture that includes decision making, team building, and invites input from all team members. Feedback and transparency are key in a collaborative environment

  • East Denver Food Hub values and cares for our natural resources, physical infrastructure, and interpersonal relationships. We aim to leave all things better than how we found them.
